To overcome this, I explored creative seaming techniques, such as piecing or pleating, to achieve the required width while maintaining the integrity of the design.
Fabric stretch: Suspenders need to have some degree of stretch to ensure a comfortable fit. However, excessive stretch can compromise the durability and lifespan of the garment. I carefully selected fabrics with the appropriate amount of stretch and recovery while considering the specific design and end-use of the suspenders.
