In my role as a Graphic Design > User Interface Designer, I have frequently encountered situations where I had to make design decisions based on data and analytics. One particular instance that stands out is when I was working on a website redesign project for an e-commerce company.

To begin with, I conducted a thorough analysis of the website’s existing user data and analytics. This involved studying user behavior, including click-through rates, bounce rates, and time spent on different pages. By delving into this data, I gained valuable insights into user preferences, pain points, and areas that needed improvement.

With this information in hand, I proceeded to create wireframes and prototypes that addressed the identified issues and incorporated design elements that were proven to be effective in previous user testing sessions. I also conducted A/B tests on specific design elements to further validate their impact on user engagement and conversion rates.
