Throughout my career as an Installation Artist, I have had the privilege of engaging with and incorporating diverse communities and audiences into my artwork. I believe that art has the power to bridge divides, foster dialogue, and empower individuals by providing a platform for their voices and experiences to be heard and seen.
Community-Engaged Installations:
My immersive installations often involve extensive community collaboration. In my project “City of Dreams,” I worked with undocumented immigrants in Los Angeles to create a series of interactive installations that shed light on their struggles and aspirations. The project included workshops, performances, and public art interventions that invited the broader community to engage in conversations about immigration and social justice.
Site-Specific and Culturally Responsive Installations:
