My experience in designing for cultural and community centers is extensive and diverse and some of the notable projects I have worked on include the following.:
* The ‘Our Heritage Center in downtown Los Angeles’: I worked alongside a non profit organization to bring this $ multi million dollar diversity center to life here in LA which was aimed at celebrating the multifaceted stories of various cultures that make LA the melting pot of cultures that it is today through interactive exhibits as well as community driven workshops and events in a beautiful space open to the community for meetings and event rentals

The ‘Cross Cultural Community center in Minneapolis’: This center aimed at providing support for new Americans as they settled into their new lives with language classes in a warm space with a dedicated study area alongside a beautiful kitchen for community meals and social events in order to provide these new members of the community a warm welcome and helping them knit new relationships with already established locals

The ‘Inter Faith Prayer Space in the nations capital D C’: I had the distinct pleasure of designing a beautiful meditation and prayer area for this inter faith space in our nations capital and through interdisciplinary collaboration with local artists and religious leaders created a beautiful space which respected the traditions of multiple faiths while offering a fresh perspective on inter faith spaces
