One technique that I have worked with extensively is garment washing. Garment washing is the process of altering the appearance and texture of a fabric by washing it with various chemicals or enzymes. This technique is commonly used to achieve a worn-in or distressed look for denim garments, for example. I have gained expertise in understanding the different types of washing processes such as stone washing, acid washing, and enzyme washing, and how they can be applied to different fabrics to achieve desired effects.
In addition to garment washing, I am also well-versed in heat setting techniques. Heat setting involves the application of heat to a fabric in order to permanently set its shape or texture. This technique is commonly used to enhance the durability and crease resistance of fabrics, as well as to create permanent pleats or embossed patterns.
